At 09:40am today, Checkie experienced a brief outage due to an issue with the security layer between our servers and Cloudflare (our distributed security service).

We identified the root cause as a problem with Cloudflare's authenticated origin pull mechanism. This caused connections to fail until the problem was identified and resolved.

We have since reconfigured our setup to use a more robust method of access control, which eliminates the risk of this issue occurring again. Additional monitoring is also in place to ensure rapid detection of any future anomalies.
